Hi mystran, thanks for getting back to me… what you’re saying above makes sense re: feedback. One thing I notice with the phase in the HP is that if I adjust the Q the phase drifts like crazy where as with the BP and LP the phase stays in one place but just sort of gets tighter as one would expect… When k = 0 it is well aligned with fc and looks like a butterworth to me.. If I remove the s = -s parameter I get results similar to the OP

Of course I’m still not sure how to fix something like…
