Is anybody still using McDSP? – Page 5 – Effects Forum

I just got tricked into thinking V7 was an update by them. I have only 3 plugins from them EC300 Echo Collection, Ultimate Channel Strip 6050, and Ultimate Multi-band 6034.

Twice (!), in the email headline it says UPDATE, not UPGRADE. I downloaded, uninstalled old/installed new, only to get shot down by iLok.

Go back to re-read the email, and way down at the bottom of the page it says “upgrade”. $29 a piece, no way, no thanks.

That is shady. And it sucks, because I happen to really like these. Was hoping to finally get presets that show, and full VST3 ability.

That IS spit in the face.
