yes: 1 sample spike is aliasing because it is maximum energy and frequency.
maybe: 1 sample spike is maybe aliasing, it is a starting edge at sample 0 and a leading edge at sample 1, two edges, no smoothing, and hence perhaps aliasing.
yes: 1 sample spike should actually be two BLITs like a tiny square wave. if it is not, then it is aliasing.
