Inquiring about the Arturia Prophet VS – Instruments Forum

I am tempted by this. I like the vector thing.

I have the sq80 V, it seems this would make that redundant. What can the latter do that the VS can’t? The VS has a ton of waveforms and can even import samples.

Is it possible to modulate the vector using the mod wheel? I can only see either have it run on a loop, or use a mod source to control movement from a-c or b-d. What if I wanted to control movement from a-b-d?

Can you set the vector modulation to free run? It seems to retrigger with each key press? I’m only using the demo at the moment so maybe this is covered in the tutorial?
