Can’t speak for Acoustica, but the format side of your list has fixed answers.

Loop points live in the smpl chunk and nowhere else in a standard WAV. It holds a MIDI unity note, a loop count, then one record per loop with a type, start and end. Start and end are sample frames, not bytes and not milliseconds, which is the thing that usually goes wrong when a file gets resampled.
