I’ve read through the thread, and I’m already quite impressed by how this is going. The tool looks really nice and has some very useful features that I might enjoy.

I read about the AI-based sample-management features and have some reservations, so I wanted to ask what exactly this involves.

Will the system generate tags and metadata from the audio—such as instruments, pitch, tempo, or sound characteristics—or will it create natural-language descriptions? Since the term “AI” is used quite broadly these days, I’m interested in knowing which kind of model or processing method is actually being used.

For privacy reasons, I would strongly prefer the entire process to run locally and offline. Multilingual support could also be useful if the generated descriptions are intended to be searchable in different languages.

The offline usage contacted with the “Paid licences allow up to 30 days of offline use between checks.” This could be lead into problems of a professional offline usage.

While reading It suddenly gave me the following idea: a tab for DAW projects that would allow me to browse only my project folders, such as my Bitwig projects, and search for bounced samples or user samples or STEMS. I usually store those separately from my main sample pool, so I probably wouldn’t want to merge them into the regular sample library. Tagging them could be a simple way i thought later.

Bitwig’s browser can do something similar, but the feature is somewhat hidden and unpractical.

By the way, I’m here to support the Linux faction (Debian 13 – KDE – xwayland). I haven’t seen a Linux build yet, though. If you have a testing users list, I’d be very happy to participate as a tester.
