How to route MIDI CC from a VST3 fx modulator to 3rd party plugins? (in: Bitwig)

Hi everyone.
I’m developing a generative MIDI CC plugin modulator. It outputs MIDI CC data on specific channels and CC numbers. I’m trying to use it in Bitwig 5.3 to modulate parameters on my 3rd party synths/fx. How do I properly “hardwire” the MIDI CC output from my vst3 so that Bitwig’s (5.3) <MIDI Learn> or <Remote Controls> picks it up to control another plugin’s parameters?
