How to extract multiple samples of a first video, to a unique output video file with FFmpeg?
I have few hundred videos (5-15min) where i’d like to select several video samples (~8-12sec) from each one:
eg for the first one :
1: ;00:01:45; AA ;00:02:00; BB ;00:03:00; CC
…up to 300+ different videos
Up to there I was playing a bit with FFmpeg, to do various operations. I’d like to know how to extract several samples of each video, to output as 1 file per video?
For example, there are 3 samples in the first video, I wish output them as video1.mpeg.
If possible, including the name of the video in the subtitles (I already know how to add subtitles, just not from multiple samples in input).
So up to here I was using -ss and -t to get both start timestamp, plus duration of the sample to extract from video1.mpeg.
But I dont know at all how to get several files from it?
