How to access the spi readings using raspberry Pi running on an ADI linux kernel – Q&A – Linux Software Drivers
Category: Software
Product Number: AD4134
Software Version: Rpi – 5.10.y
I want to interface AD4134 ADC through a raspberry pi 3. It’s running rpi-5.10.y kernel which I put in place of the kernel I built through yocto.
Although I can see the file in sys/bus/spi/drivers as ad4134 and ad4134 spi-engine I can’t see it in the /dev directory nor can I see anything connected to SPI. “lsmod” command is also not showing up any spi or ad4134 driver modules.
And all the modules I loaded during my yocto build is gone when I swapped its kernel with the adi-linux kernel.
TL:DR – I want to get the readings from the adc using the adi-linux os running on my raspberry pi. Also keep in mind I’m a beginner.
