How patient are you when you bring new gear home? (in: Guitars)

With acoustic guitars its best to let them acclimate to the new environment especially when they are shipped.
I don’t freaking care when I’ve got that new stuff in the door. I want to use it now. Especially guitars. Nothing is sacred not the box it came in nor the bubble wrap padding.
Today is NGD and it’s not arriving for another four hours at least. I’m not playing any of my other guitars leading up to the moment because I want to devote the rest of the day to playing the new guitar. Eve…
