How easy is the Korg Wavestation to use? (in: Instruments)

Today I tried to program it. Prime example of an UI where every decision that could go wrong did.

– Not able to save individual patches: check. Full banks only.
– No init patch: check.
– Not able to scroll the waves in the waveseq with a single click on an arrow or the mousewheel: check. Let’s menu dive.
– Closing losing the patch: check.

Shame that this is a preset machine. I mean OK with the V1 from ther early 2000’s, but when was the V2 launched?
