How do I maintain a Fret position when making a melody in the fl studio piano roll instead of the ample guitar rifter. (in: Ample Sound)

Yes, don’t use the capo knob for this. The only ways around this that I’ve found are:
1) use keyswitch C#1 + E1 to move the fret back to 0 each time you need it. This is what I usually do and I do it a LOT.
2) in the GUI, select keyboard mode. Then it doesn’t matter where the fret position is indicated. However, you lose some realism doing this. Usually I only do this when I’m initially designing the guitar part. Once I have the notes right, I switch to instrument mode and set the fret position…
