GUI not updating properly on X11/unresponsive dropdown menu buttons on Wayland (Linux) (in: CWITEC)

Kernel version: Linux 7.0.9-arch1-1
Desktop Environment: Xfce4

DAW: REAPER v7.69
Tested with both v3.7.0s 7750.1084 and v3.8.0beta 7809.968.
