google cloud platform – How to Stop IP from resolving? Maintain only Domain name. GCP + WordPress (Bitnami)

Absolute noob to GCP. Please help.

I deployed WP (Bitnami) image for testing out GCP.
I got an epi IP address and the site resolves on that IP.
I then pointed A records from my domain to that IP. (Not DNS, only A records are pointed)
The site resolves on my domain.

The issue is now both IP and Domain are resolving the website and it’s leading to duplicated content. How do i stop the IP from being resolved and maintain only the Domain name?

Need to stop the IP from being resolved and allow public internet to resolve only from the Domain name.
