In the UAD video for 250/140 they mentioned that Pure Plate was one of the same plates included on the 140.
You can definitely use it for drums.
The interesting thing about Valhalla plate is that you can get it pretty damn close to any plate. UVIs plate has even more controls.
What I like about EMT 140 or Sound Toys Superplate is the ability to know what sound it’s going to make every single time. There’s just not lots of options but at the same, it’s THAT sound you probably already …
