FM Lab is not the same thing as Halion FM Zone (in: Instruments)

I’ve been on a quest for the best FM synth I could use, not realising I probably already own it. This is a public service announcement, in case anyone else is as stupid as me.

I had no idea FM Lab was something different to FM Zone. I’ve found FM Zone pretty much unusable, due to various awful UI decisions. I don’t generally use presets, so when loading Halion up, it offers me “Play” or “Create” and I’ve only ever picked “Create” and then “FM synth”. If you pick “Play”, you can load “FM Lab…
