kinda late but… see if the plugin is actually following the Host tempo (see the BPM display, and check whether it reacts when you change the tempo in your DAW), then ensure the sync mode is set to Host sync, and then in that mode, you’re supposed to feed a sustained MIDI note (no matter which one) on the Trigger channel (see the top bar), this sustained note is used as a RUN signal and the sequencer will play. when you do that – take note whether the RUN LED is lit
