ffmpeg – The video player doesn’t find the ipcm codec

I used mp4box (GPAC) to create a clip from mp4 video and wav audio encoded with pcm_s24le.

WMP displayed the video normally, but no sound.

VLC displayed the video normally, but no sound, and returned the message VLC cannot find the description of the ipcm codec.

Both players played the original audio file normally. When trying to combine both files into a single mp4 file by FFmpeg, it shows an error about the ipcm codec: tag not found.

I found a recommendation to specify the pcm_s24be codec before the source file, as in the command:

ffmpeg -i video.mp4 -c:a pcm_s24be -i audio.wav -c:v copy -c:a pcm_s24le -ar 48k output.mp4

which also returned an error about the unknown ipcm codec and failed.
