Feature Request: One Release Per Developer in the Newest Plugins List – Site Stuff Forum

I’ve noticed that KVR’s Newest Plugins list is increasingly dominated by large batches of releases from individual developers.

Sometimes dozens of plugins appear in a short period, pushing other new releases out of view surprisingly quickly.

I have a simple suggestion:

**What if the Newest Plugins list displayed only the most recent release from each developer?**

For example, if a developer publishes 50 plugins in one day, they would occupy just one position in the main list instead of 50.

That entry could include a link to view all 50 releases.

Every individual plugin would still have its own product page and remain fully searchable. Only the main list would change.

This wouldn’t require banning AI-generated plugins, judging product quality, or restricting developers from publishing as many products as they like.

It would simply prevent one developer from dominating the entire list.

I think this could make KVR’s new releases much more useful again, while giving both established and independent developers a fairer chance to be discovered.

KVR has been an invaluable resource for the audio software community for many years, and I’d really like to see it remain that way.

What do you think? Would something like this be feasible?
