Evolution Engine Strumming Question (toggle direction) (in: Orange Tree Samples)

Is there a way to more easily toggle the strumming from up to down/down to up? The process of clicking three times for each note* across every note because I seemingly play in a goofy style from the development team has gotten tedious.
* click on pick icon and drag down a little bit to leave space so it doesn’t turn into single note pick, then click on the bottom to drag it all the way to the top, then click on the pick icon drag it down to the bottom string
