Yeah, but you were claiming that end users would have a problem with the usage because of the tech changes on the front. That is what your analogy was stating (an elderly person using an UI which then change and now the end user cannot cope with that new UI).
The “problem” here has nothing to do with usability. So the analogy breaks right there.
