Elektrons compressor, something similar as a plugin / or: how to get same feel ITB vs. dealing with comps (in: Effects)

Hi, strange request.

I had great results with kick drums using two comps in an Elektron box.
The comp in the DT and anything later should be same

i would guess it´s a thing of the settings, rather than to use a specific type of plugin comp ?
I´d like to know -or discuss- about both aspects “if” anybody in the knows wants to chim in 😉
– Which comp type ? (plugin)
– What´s the thing with the settings ?
