During Ubuntu installation, If I put /boot/efi in SSD and / in HDD. Which is faster to boot?
I have an SSD and a HDD. I am looking to dual boot Lubuntu alongside windows(which is in SSD). I wanted to have the entire Lubuntu on HDD but bootup is taking time for obvious reasons. So I am trying to minimize the amount of Lubuntu partitions to have on SSD.
Which partition takes more time to bootup? the EFI /boot/efi
partition or the OS /
partition? Or is there any other way to make the Lubuntu OS bootup faster by keeping minimum files on SSD?
Having the Lubuntu completely on HDD has a boot time of ~1 min.
