Do you keep VST folders in downloads after installation? – Instruments Forum

No, but I have a special location for my vst and sample libraries so that I can easily backing them up into other storages and use them in other device out of the box, instead of redownloading or reinstall everything again.

There are exceptions though, which are always the NI stuff, but I can download them using native access without leaving any stuff in the download folder.

From time to time, I clean the download folder and I don’t worry if anything important is in there since they are either located in the correct folders, or they are insignificant to keep.
