Some GUI controls (light emitters, like LEDs) are rendered above the SDR range (up to 600 nits), so the synth gets a hardware-like lighting effect.
On a personal note, the effect is mesmerizing and raises the synth’s “alive” feeling. I hope more vendors implement this in the future.
