Dimensions issues when exporting STL file

I have an issue when I’m trying to export STL file from Maya and i try to import it into Flow3D. I’m exporting it from Maya with the right dimensions but when i import it into Flow3D (CFD program for fluid simulation) the dimensions are increased by a lot. The object I’m exporting it should be 5 meters in diameter (2.5m radius on the inner wall) but when i imported into Flow3D the dimensions are 500m in diameter. But when i do the same model in Blender and export it as STL and import it into Flow3D the dimensions are as it should be. Why is Maya messing up the export, what can i do to fix this issue?
