I’m a long time, on-again-off-again DP user. I have DP11 and got it recently enough that I qualified for a free upgrade to DP12. I like a lot of things about DP. One of the things I really like, compared to other DAWs, is that you can compose freely in the piano roll (MIDI view) and don’t have to worry about clips at all. Put any MIDI notes anywhere, and DP uses heuristics to highlight phrases in the overview in the Tracks view.
