Did you ever lose a project in Bitwig?? – Page 3 – Bitwig Forum

I’ve lost a single project while using bitwig for the last three years due to a crash. I don’t exactly know what caused that particular project to fail to be recovered, it could have been me clicking too fast and dismissing the project recovery dialog, but it’s now made me a lot more cautious when loading after a crash and so far I’ve had zero reoccurrences. The project I lost hadn’t ever been saved, which could have had something to do with it.

Also there is sometimes issues with plugin recall when recovering after a crash, I had this happen the other day but I’d be more tempted to blame the plugin than bitwig, tough to know of course. In the last case it was easy enough to pull in the plugin from one of the previous autosaves to restore the right sound.

In general though I have been happy with the stability, crashes are only common during betas and of course no one should be using betas for final projects.
