In manjaro I’ve installed etcher-bin. I’ve used gnome-disk-utility 41.0 to format a Kingston SanDisk 32 gb USB without partitioning. I’ve used balenaEtcher to flash the iso into the USB. Then on an old Toshiba Satellite L50-B-1WN (9E075408C). I’ve configured the BIOS to UEFI instead of CSM, and to boot from USB first. It boots to the USB and I select Boot with open source drivers. Then I get:
ERROR: ‘/dev/disk/by-label/MANJARO_XFCE_2121’ device did not show up after 30 seconds…
Falling back to interactive prompt
You can try to fix the problem manually, log out when you are finished
sh: can’t access tty; job control turned off
[rootfs ]# _
I get the same changing USB ports, and selecting Boot with proprietary drivers
What am I doing wrong?
Edit: I managed to make it wrong by unplugging and plugging the USB just before getting the error.
