Detailing Structural Models – Steel – Synchronizing Autodesk Revit Model with Autodesk Advance Steel Data

To deliver structural BIM data with LOD 400 or above elements, you need all steel sections and connections modeled to fabrication level. To do this, you can synchronize the Revit design model with fabrication level Advance Steel model and import sections and connections.

This module takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. By the end of the module, you should be able to: 

• Synchronize Autodesk Revit changes with Autodesk Advance Steel
• Validate and import Advance Steel data in Autodesk Revit
• Control the visibility of various structural elements
