The visualisation is not a spectrum!!!
It is like a normal wavetable, just not in the typical 80’s-like green pseudo 3D raster lines!

Traditional:
high amplitude values = mountain tops
low amplitude values = valleys

Kontrast:
high amplitude values = white
low amplitude values = black

The grayscale image gives you much more precision and detail about your audio!

Per default the scanline is a vertical line – this is the normal “slice” in traditional wavetable synth.
