Darktable runs – but I cannot see or access its UI

I’m not yet there…

Installed Menu Editor > Accessories > New Launcher > made dtn with your command. Saved and gave exec permissions. I can launch from terminal CLI but not with ‘test launcher’ option in Menu Editor. When I do that it opens the file (menulibre-s0tc6iuf.desktop) in editor and say ‘The file has been changed by another program’.

And I saved ‘dtn’ to /usr/local/bin as /home/jetze/.local/bin was not in my path and /usr/local/bin was.

From CLI it does give output in two files in /tmp with same info as before.

But I’ve not yet discovered how to launch it.
