this is a problem that goes back at least 15-20 years for me. Windows and Mac.
I don’t get this problem any more, i think it might be related to having a USB soundcard,
or some USB device? I just vaguely remember the Cubase quit hang, and removing the USB device then cubase would close properly? from memory. Could also try closing all projects first, then close the program.??
