Cubase 14 dropped – Okay, I’m actually keen on this update

I’m super disappointed in Komplete 15 and shocked NI updated Maschine at all.

It seems like NI is continuing to abandon virtual instruments and focusing on Kontakt libraries, often third party. I have Collector’s Edition and $500 just to get Kontakt 8 and a few libraries may be the reason I move away from NI as a customer. Seriously, just make the VI windows resizable but… nothing.

I’ve used Cubase in studios in the past but never bought it. I only took a quick look but the drum pattern editor does look good.
