Copy chunks of waveform.settings to new PC (in: Tracktion)

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to manually edit waveform.settings somehow without Waveform then overwriting the changes?
I am trying to migrate the huge number of macros and k/b shortcuts I had on my old machine to the new one.
I have tried everything I can think of – editing waveform.settings before starting Waveform, while running Waveform, after closing it. It just gets overwritten with previous content that Waveform seems to have cached somewhere.
Windows 11, Waveform Pro 13.5.25.
