Controlling the length of an export. – Tracktion Forum

I have a piece I was adding a track to, and when the piece “ended” I kept recording on the same track (an audio clip) that went on for 20 minutes. I didn’t want to erase it, so just left in place.

Now, if I mute that track and export, the export is a full 20 minutes long, and the last 3/4 of it is dead space – even though the only long clip is muted and isn’t present at all. Is there a way (other than deleting the clip) to get an export of the proper length ? The “remove silence” apparently still looks at a muted clip ?
