Controlling/Playing a VST plugin in Waveform with Alesis Quadra Synth (in: Instruments)

ok, now you lost me… you want to hear your vst-instrument through midi on your quadra synth?
if so, thatˋs not possible. you can only hear the vst-instrument through your computer or audio-interface. midi is only for control-data (which note is played etc.) and contains no audio. if you‘re talking about something else, please give some more details. how is everything connected? which vst? midi/audio-interface…
