Coming back to Win after loving iPadOS, feeling dumb – Instruments Forum

So, after years of MacOS then WinXP and 7…
Then discovering and loving iOS and iPadOS since 2017….loving it, enjoying it, have never been more inspired nor created as much as I did on my G3 Blue Dalmatian iMac with just and only Reason 2.5.

Typing and otherwise on a Win machine has been a total PITA in every way now…BUT!
I was granted a 2018-ish Razor Blade….put Win11 on it.
Dumb to not use it.

But I’m way outside of what’s going on nowadays.

Of course I went back to Reaper, as I had used before….but stuff on iPad has spoiled me, so I’m thinking super simple and straightforward.
So a life Mulab license has been a lovely perfect timing blessing.

I’ve a number of huge fave freeware…so no need for that.

So….I admit to being a lazy MFer….and as a hobbiest and cheapskate….
So!

Gimmie a huge, easy, simple, fat, full ROMpler!
(Synth1 with the huge amount of stuff in the zip files, I got! Might as well be a ROMpler there’s so many presets! Heh)

I’m a 80s and synthwave fan, and have an equal weak-in-the-knees feel for synths/sounds from 1970s major and b-movies, too.

Synth….ROMpler…both.
Easy interaction. Simple interface. Solid, quality sounds. Low CPU usage. Low cost (under 100 US bucks and done).

Gimmie that big, low cost ‘go to’, folks.

Or am I far more stupid than I imagine? Heheh!
