CITE | SoundShockAudio
CITE is Analog Obsession’s compact high-frequency processor for adding controlled presence to high-mids and highs. Its gain-compensated AMT control drives the effect, while AREA chooses whether the processing reaches from the mids upward or concentrates on the top end.
MIX blends the treated signal with the original, and OUTPUT trims the final level, so CITE can be used for a subtle lift or a more obvious sheen without rebuilding an entire EQ chain. The design intentionally runs without oversampling and keeps the panel focused on four main controls.
The resizable interface scales from 50% to 200%, which is useful when placing the plug-in on a vocal, acoustic instrument, synth, or full mix bus. It is a quick tonal-color tool rather than a surgical equalizer: use it to audition brightness and character, then balance it with the mix control.
CITE runs on macOS and Windows in VST3 and AAX Native/AudioSuite formats, with AU also available on macOS. Analog Obsession’s public CITE post provides the individual Mac and Windows installer links directly.
