centos – Apache Timezone – Stack Overflow
Here is an example of my server’s headers:
Connection: close
Content-Length: 527
Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1
Date: Mon, 01 Apr 2024 15:54:57 GMT
Set-Cookie: id=none; path=/; domain=example.org; expires=Mon, 01-Apr-2024 15:53:57 GMT
When I check the server timezone setting, I see:
# timedatectl
Local time: Mon 2024-04-01 15:56:58 UTC
Universal time: Mon 2024-04-01 15:56:58 UTC
RTC time: Mon 2024-04-01 15:56:59
Time zone: UTC (UTC, +0000)
System clock synchronized: yes
NTP service: active
RTC in local TZ: no
How can I force my CentOS Apache to use UTC instead of GMT?
Note: I understand that GMT and UTC are alike, but I wish to have UTC being used.
