Can't get Blue Snowball to show up in project on Tracktion Waveform 13 (in: Tracktion)

I have a Windows laptop and typically have no issue connecting MIDI devices to Waveform. But I’m unable to get my Blue Snowball to connect. I can see it under the Audio Devices tab in the settings, but when I open a project, it’s not in the inputs section, and all that shows up is “input channel 1”, which makes no sound.

I’ve tried starting up the computer with the cable already plugged in, changing which USB port I’m inserting the cable into, and I made sure that my computer and Waveform say …
