Caesura Effects Sospeso
Sospeso is a granular freeze. It keeps a rolling one-second memory of your guitar; stamp FREEZE and it stops listening and builds an endless, click-free pad by scattering overlapping grains across that captured second. The hold blooms in, sits forever and never obviously loops, so you can play live lines over a bed of your own making.
Features:
- RISE fades the pad in, from about 5 ms to 2 s.
- SUSTAIN sets how solid the hold is; SHIMMER adds an octave layer on top.
- BLEND sets how loud the bed sits under live playing.
- WIDTH: Mono, Wide or Vast; MOTION: Still, Drift or Tide.
- RELEASE: Secco (snap), Calando (1 s) or Niente (3 s) when FREEZE lets go.
A 14-day trial is available from the product page.
