Bug #2011846 “Add regex filters for use in print templates” : Bugs : Evergreen

It would be useful to have regular expression replacement in print templates.

A few years ago Galen Charlton wrote on Evergreen-dev that “it would be a matter of just a few lines of code to make Evergreen define a custom filter implementing a regexp replace function that could be made available to the print templates, a la https://embed.plnkr.co/plunk/8LDJXj.”

It would be really great to get this added as itcould greatly reduce repetitive and hard to read code in templates.
