BR: Clip Effects on mono audio (in: Tracktion)

Has anyone else noticed that when you add clip effects to a mono track, it’s turned into a stereo signal and force to the left side? I just wanted to add some volume leveling to vocals. The track on the bottom of the image is what happens every time I apply volume clip effect. This didn’t occur before version 13.5.8.
