Booster is a simple plugin to quickly maximize the volume of your full mix, or shave off the peaks of any vocal take that has some volume inconsistencies. The plugin uses a combination of limiting and pre-clipping that gives it a very crunchy and colored character, emphasized at faster release time settings. If the maximize toggle is enabled, the boost control will drive up the volume of your track into the limiter, maximizing your volume. If it is disabled, the boost control acts as a threshold just controlling the peaks of your vocal track. Booster is also great to saturate a drum bus.
