Blue Cat’s Connector 1.1 Released (Incl. ASIO Driver)! – Page 3 – Blue Cat Audio Forum

I am very confused about the use of the Windows ASIO driver for Blue Cat connector.

Lets imagine I want to send audio from App A to App B. Intuitively, I would expect to set App A to use the Blue Cat ASIO driver. In App B, I insert an instance of Blue Cat Connector and set it to receive audio. The instance of Connector in App B now receives all of the audio generated from App A.

The comments above that the ASIO Driver is only a “slave” suggest that the above is the wrong way around – App B should use the ASIO driver. But if that is the case, how do you direct the audio to a sound device so it can actually be heard?

Can you provide more info on the intended use for the ASIO driver? There is virtually nothing in the ‘manual’ on the Blue Cat website.
