5.3 headlined a bunch of new devices (Drums, Stepwise, Freq Shifter, etc.). However, the majority of the development time went to the Audio System Overhaul. That was the actual major feature of 5.3. Overhauling the audio system also created lots of bugs and took months to stabilize. The drum devices were trivial in comparison. Bitwig also released a Windows Arm version with 5.3
