Best VM manager for Linux | Howtoforge

Both Hyper-V and VirtualBox have their own perks.

Hyper-V is great if you’re already in a Windows environment. It’s pretty robust and integrates well, but it’s more Windows-centric. Linux support is there, but it might not be as smooth as with other tools.

VirtualBox, on the other hand, is super popular in the Linux community. It’s user-friendly and generally more flexible with different OS types, including various Linux distributions. Plus, it’s free and open-source, which is always a bonus in the Linux world.
At the end of the day, it really boils down to your specific needs and setup.

Personally, I’ve found VirtualBox to be a great fit for most of my Linux needs. It’s straightforward to set up and use, which is a big plus when you’re juggling learning Linux and managing VMs.
