I have about 10 mixes for each song of my new album. Some are similar, and some vary in tempo and vibe. I need to stack them up like doing a vocal comp and choose the best intro, verse 1, 2, 3, chorus, bridge, solo, coda, outro, etc. It’s a bit overwhelming, but I know I can do it if I have use an organized system and the right software. I’ve done this for years using primitive methods from cutting tape to using a sampler and audio editor, etc.
