That could very easily be what I’m noticing. I don’t own that one, but if the voice cards of the hardware are out quite a bit, that can definitely make it sound more dynamic. Often when I’m comparing a software polyphonic synth to a hardware one, I can get that voice to be super close, and then I’ll play a chord and all of the sudden, the hardware sounds so big and the software sounds weak. Some synths don’t have any way to compensate for this, but when they do, it makes a huge difference.
